Responsible for supporting global supply chain initiatives and ensuring effective supplier management.
• Develop Stryker Orthopaedics Global Commodity strategy. • Develop and prepare Supply Agreements and coordinate with all Stryker Orthopaedics sites worldwide to administrate those contracts. • Coordinate negotiations with multi-site suppliers. • Ensure global suppliers meet project requirements related to budget price, product technology, capability, capacity, logistics and Quality Assurance. • Organize and lead global “Sourcing Teams” in the specific sourcing category. • Introduce e-Procurement, e-Sourcing, e-Auctions and other innovative techniques to GSC worldwide. • Serves as signatory authority for Global Sourcing & Planning responsibilities on all specifications, checklists, procedures, and instructions.
• 7-10+ years of experience in Supplier Management. • Must have strong negotiation skills, a working knowledge of Purchasing “best practices” and product manufacturing and assembly processes. • Some domestic and international travel will be required. • Must have strong leadership skills. • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Must have strong PC skills.
